Summer Sunday School Classes

This summer we will be offering two classes:
1) An intergenerational class that will be open to Children (Grade 1) through Adults. 8:45AM
2) A Bible study class open to Adults. 9:00AM
The Intergenerational Class is a study of the Ten Commandments called, "The Righteous Shall Live by Faith". It is a resource of John Piper's ministry, Children Desiring God. If interested in more information on that ministry, go to www.ChildrenDesiringGod.org . This class will meet in the Fellowship Hall. We will sit at tables by families, multiple groups of families, or combinations of singles and families. (Everyone is invited!) One of several teachers will lead each set of 2 to 3 classes by topic. At a few points during the lesson, each table will have its own discussion and application time relating to the lesson. This discussion time will be facilitated by a discussion leader, usually the father of one of the families, at each table. Please note that this class meets 15 minutes earlier, at 8:45, to allow more time to cover the material.
The Bible Study Class is an in-depth study of the book of Hebrews, and is a continuation of the current study, taught by Jerry Robertson. The letter to the Hebrews reigns unchallenged as the New Testament's finest commentary on the relationship between Christ and the Old Testament. Its stirring message will challenge you to live whole-heartedly for Him in every situation. This class will meet in the Newton Conference Room.
We encourage you to participate in one of these exciting studies this summer to enrich your understanding and application of God's Word, and we pray you will be richly blessed by doing so. Invite your friends, neighbors and families too.
