About Us Missions
Westminster Presbyterian is a church committed to the evangelization of the world in accord with our Lord’s Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 24:46-49, and Acts 1:8. We have an annual World Missions Conference, usually in February, when we seek to expand our vision and understanding of the task before Christ’s Church, and when our people are given an opportunity to make a “Faith Promise” over-and-above their regular church giving specifically towards the task of world evangelization (see Philippians 4:15-20). In addition, we have periodic World Missions emphases through out the year, often having the opportunity to hear from missionaries we either do or may support, learning first hand about work in various fields.
