Dear WPC Family, 

The Session and Diaconate are holding a called meeting this evening, March 17, at 6:00pm to pray for God’s mercy and to consider a plan of action for life and ministry at WPC for the next several weeks.  As I’m sure you are aware, things are in a constant state of flux right now.  Please pray that the Lord will grant us wisdom as we seek to minister to you during this public health crisis.  One decision the session has already made as of this morning (Tuesday, March 17) is to suspend all church-related small group Bible studies and ministries until further notice (e.g. Ladies Weekly Bible Study, Carpenter’s Apprentices, Men’s Theology Group, etc.).  We don’t intend by this announcement to say that you cannot get together with other Christians at your own discretion for fellowship.  We are simply saying that church-related ministries and small group Bible studies will not go on as planned in the short-term.  We hope this changes soon as we realize that these small group meetings are an integral part of your growth in grace.  

We will be sure to keep you informed.  As always, if you have a particular need during this time please reach out to your shepherding elder or call the church office.
