Adult Discipleship

"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" Matthew 28:18-20

A disciple is someone who learns.  As Christians we are disciples of Jesus Christ, which means we must learn from Him if we are to grow in the Christian life.  The primary means of Christian growth are the Word of God, the sacraments, and prayer.  God is pleased to use these means of grace to renew our minds and transform our lives so that we might live for Him.

We believe that the most important avenue of discipleship in the Christian life is a regular commitment to Lord's Day worship.  In addition, we offer several other Bible study and fellowship groups where men and women can "grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).  You can find out more about these ministry opportunities by clicking on the links to the right.
