NextGen’s philosophy of ministry is grounded in the Bible first, but also in Reformed Theology as articulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith. The ultimate goal of NextGen is to glorify God in everything we do. We recognize that a youth group is not a replacement for church but a secondary tool used to help youth grow in their love and knowledge of God, at an age-appropriate level. We aim to help youth develop and deepen their relationship with Christ as well as create opportunities for mentorship and discipleship with older believers. At Westminster, we want to grow the next generation up to be faithful men and women of Christ's church and the Gospel.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Sundays | 9am | Choir Room
The class will be lead by Brent Sadler and other youth volunteers. More details are on the Youth Sunday School Page.
SERVICE: There are several opportunities for youth to serve at our church,. We will have a work day coming up in the spring (2024). There are also opportunities to serve with Catechism Club. For more information, please see Melissa.
FELLOWSHIP: On certain Sundays, following Morning Worship, all youth and their families will be invited to gather together for lunch and fellowship. For more information, see Melissa.
